9. DIRTY DANCING

Dirty Dancing


Ich oute mich jetzt: ja, ich habe „Dirty Dancing“ gesehen, und ja, mehr als ein Mal!
Mir gefällt der Film wirklich, es ist zwar seichte, aber dafür sehr gute Unterhaltung. Noch viel besser als der eigentliche Film ist aber der Soundtrack mit wunderschönen Songs der 50er- und 60er-Jahre. Und „Hey Baby“ konnte mir bisher selbst ein gewisser Gerry Friedle mit seiner Bierzelt-Mitgrölvariante nicht vergrätzen.
Zudem hat er mit „The Time of My Life“ einen würdigen Oscar-Gewinner hervorgebracht, wobei ich persönlich ja „She’s like the Wind“ sogar noch vorgezogen hätte. Zugegeben auch deswegen, dass man später von „Academy Award Winner“ Patrick Swayze hätte sprechen können, der an diesem Song als Co-Autor beteiligt war. 🙂
