Gestern erst wurden die Gewinner des Gotham Independent Awards gekürt und bereits heute stehen die Nominierungen für die zweite große Indy-Preisverleihung, den Spirit Awards, fest.
Die meisten Nominierungen konnten Wes Anderson’s „Moonrise Kingdom“ und David O. Russells „Silver Linings Playbook“ mit jeweils 5 Stück einfahren. Während „Moonrise Kingdom“ bereits als DVD bzw. BluRay zu erwerben ist, müssen wir uns bei „Silver Linings Playbook“ noch bis Anfang Jänner 2013 gedulden, bis der Kinostart erfolgt. Der erste Film von David O. Russell nach „The Fighter“ ist ein Tragikomödie mit Bradley Cooper und Jennifer Lawrence in den Hauptrollen. Ebenfalls zu sehen sind u.a. Robert DeNiro und Julia Stiles.
