Die Longlist der „englischen Oscars“ wurde veröffentlicht und Deutschlands Killers of he Flower Moon, Oppenheimer und Barbie sind in Sage und Schreibe 15 Kategorien nominiert. Während einige sich als Frontrunner positionieren kriegen traditionell auch einige Frontrunner eine kalte oder zumindest lauwarme Dusche und dies trifft vor allem auf  Willem Dafoe und Charles Melton (May December) zu, die beide in der Longlist fehlen! Dafür kann The Holdovers Luft wettmachen und Dominic Sessa bringt sich in Lauerstellung. Könnte mir gut vorstellen, dass er am Ende den 5. Spot bei den Männern bekommt. Downey Jr. , Gosling, Raffalo und DeNiro scheinen schon fest zu stehen, waren sie bisher immer dabei. Ebenso fehlt Natalie Portman (May December) und hat es damit nicht mal unter die letzten 10 geschafft, auch war sie bei den Critic Choice Awards schon nicht nominiert. Das wird demnach wohl nix.
