The Last of us, The White Lotus und Ted Lasso folgen mit 24, 23 und 21 Nennungen. Allerdings haben Succession und The White Lotus viele Mehrfachnominierungen bekommen, so dass die Serien effektiv in deutlich weniger verschiedenen Kategorien erfolgreich sein werden als man bei der Anzahl der Nominierungen vermuten würde. Ebenfalls einen beachtlichen Erfolg erzielen The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel mit 14, sowie The Bear, Beef und Dahmer – Monster: Die Geschichte von Jeffrey Dahmer mit jeweils 13 Nennungen.

RuPaul hat erneut mit der Drag Queen-Sensation RuPauls Drag Race Geschichte geschrieben. Keine Person of Color hat mehr Preise abgesahnt als er und dieses Jahr können weitere 9 Emmys dazu gekommen. Der 26 (!)-fache Emmysieger hält weiterhin den Rekord für die beste Moderation (7x hintereinander) und wird mit ziemlicher Sicherheit auch den 8. Nachdem die letztjährige Oscarpreisträgerin Jessica Chastain überraschend für Szenen einer Ehe im letzten Jahr nicht nominiert wurde, erhält sie für George and Tammy ihre erste Emmy-Nominierung für den sie bereits den Screen Actors Guild Award erhielt und damit Frontrunnerin sein dürfte.
