Die Gewinner der Critics Choice Awards geben in der Regel einen sehr guten Einstand über die jeweiligen Frontrunner wieder. In diesem Jahr ist das auch so, mit Ausnahme von Frontrunnern wie Lego Movie, dem Score und Schnitt von Birdman, das Drehbuch von Gone Girl, Life itself beim Dokumentarfilm, u.a., da sie von der Academy NICHT für einen Oscar vorgeschlagen wurde. Ein Fauxpas über den sich viele zurecht aufregen. Shame you Academy Member! Man kann es nicht oft genug sagen!
